How to find a TikTok user ID

  1. Type the account's username (with or without the @).
  2. Select “Find ID” and wait a few seconds.
  3. Use the Copy buttons next to the User ID or secUid.

What TikTok's numeric user ID and secUid are

Every TikTok account has a numeric user ID and a secUid (a longer, encoded internal identifier) alongside its @username. TikTok's apps and APIs use them internally, and they stay fixed even if the username changes — which is why they're useful for tracking an account across a rename. Only have a username and want the full profile? Try the User Finder.

Where the IDs come from

TikTok doesn't include the numeric ID or secUid in its public oEmbed endpoint, and its profile pages reject ordinary automated requests with a bot-check. This site doesn't scrape around that protection. Instead it asks a third-party data provider (TikLiveAPI) for those fields. If the provider is unavailable, the IDs show as “Not available” instead of being guessed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a TikTok account's numeric user ID here?
Usually, yes. The numeric ID comes from a third-party data provider. When that provider is unavailable the tool falls back to TikTok's oEmbed data, which doesn't include it, and the ID is shown as not available.
What is a TikTok secUid?
It's a longer, encoded identifier TikTok uses internally alongside the numeric user ID. Like the numeric ID, this tool shows it when its data provider returns it, and marks it as not available otherwise.
Does the user ID change if the username changes?
No. The numeric user ID stays the same across username changes, which is why it identifies an account more reliably than the @handle.
